<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Valdellon John, on Monday, June 27th 2022, in Montreal, in her 75th year. <br> <br>She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Phillip John. She will be dearly missed by her children Melissa (Greg), and Derrick. She will also be fondly remembered by her sisters Juanita (Francisco) and Luz, her nephews and nieces, her fur babies – Huggs and Kisses, as well as many other family and friends here and in The Philippines. <br> <br>Linda, daughter of Macario and Maria Valdellon was born in Paete, Philippines, January 5th, 1947. She along with her 5 siblings grew up in Paete Laguna. <br>In 1975, Linda came to Canada for a better opportunity. She settled in Montreal, Quebec, where she met her loving husband, Phillip and shortly started a family. Melissa and Derrick were her pride and joy and was so proud of their accomplishments. <br>She was very social and always participated in family and friend gatherings, she was the life of the party and enjoyed dancing. She was a true friend and sister – she cared for everyone’s well being; whether she sent out a text to check on you, or the many phone calls between her friends and sisters. <br> <br>Her favorite past times was watching her favorite soap opera, “Young and the Restless” and following her favorite hockey team – Montreal Canadiens. <br> <br>Her legacy will live on in the many hearts and minds she interacted with, as well as those she reached but never met. <br>Special thanks to the ICU staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital and the ICU staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences on Sunday, July 10th 2022 from 4 pm to 7pm at Rideau Funeral Home 4275, Sources blvd, D.D.O., QC – 514-685-3344 <br> <br>To view prayers and blessings (4:10pm): https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/56985</div>
