<div itemprop="description">It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lionel Chavarie on December 20, 2023. <br> <br>Devoted husband to Peggy of 69 years. Loving father to Jim(Judy), Bob(Sue) and Dan. Grandfather to Laura(Mike), Tara(Luca), Eric(Becky), Bobby(Tracy), Kirk(Kelsey), Cody, Katie(Chris). Great-Grandfather to Zoe, Sophia, Noah, Sebastian, Dario, Elizabeth and Layla. <br> <br>Born in New Brunswick October 8, 1929 and moved to Montreal in his late teens where he met the love of his life. <br> <br>He was predeceased by his 13 siblings. <br> <br>Lionel will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. <br> <br>Many thanks to the staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital and the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for their care and devotion in his time of need. <br> <br>Visitation on Wednesday January 3, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:30 am followed by a service and reception. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers a donation in his name to The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence or The Lakeshore General Hospital would be most appreciated. <br> <br> <br> <br></div>
