Lisette Comtois Coutu
January 15, 1935 - February 2, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Lisette Comtois Coutu, on February 2, 2026.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rose Labrecque and Fidèle Comtois; her brothers, André, Gilles, and Maurice; and her former spouse, Jean Coutu.
She leaves behind her children, Danielle, Michelle, and Marc Coutu, as well as her grandchildren, Kevin and Jennifer Coutu.

A kind, generous, and loving woman, she had a profound love for animals and nature. Her compassion extended far beyond her family, as she was an active and dedicated member of her community. She volunteered for 18 years at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, offering comfort and kindness. She also generously gave her time to the Carrefour des Aînés de Pierrefonds and was acknowledged as an honourable member.

Her warmth, selflessness, and resilience touched many lives. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the first responders, paramedics, and the multidisciplinary Coronary Unit team at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence Foundation or the Lakeshore Hospital Foundation.

A celebration of life will be held to honor her life and legacy on March the 7th, 2026.
