“It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Lolita Nuguid on July 12, 2025, at the age of 74. She departed surrounded by the enduring love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering devotion and strength.
Born on July 24, 1950, our mother Lolita was the cherished daughter of the late Sebastian Nuguid and Maria Rojo Nuguid. Throughout her life, she embodied the roles of a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, and wife. Lolita was widely known for her formidable strength and unwavering determination, dedicating the majority of her life to the care and provision of her family. Her deep and abiding faith in God served as an unyielding source of comfort and resilience through all of life's challenges.
She is survived by her loving children, Francis, Maria, Barbara, and Olivia; her cherished grandchildren, Sydney, Izzy, and Grace; and her adored great-grandchildren, Pippa and Eloise.
A memorial service to honor and commemorate our mother Lolita's remarkable life will be held on July 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rideau Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC, H9B 2A6.
