Passed away peacefully on February 11th, 2019, after a brave battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of the late Mrs. Aline McNeil (née Nogues), loving father of Pat (Tamara) and Kim. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and fellow officers.
Lorne spent 33 years as a Montreal police officer, during which he founded the juvenile division. Over his varied and distinguished career, he received many awards, decorations, and accolades.
Widely known as the “Friendly Giant”, Lorne was involved in community service for over six decades, most recently with the Manoir Kirkland Gentlemen`s Club.
Of all of his achievements, he considered his family to be his greatest.
In his memory, a donation to the SPCA or to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated.
