<div itemprop="description">With great sadness, we announce the passing of Lorne Yves Harriet, a man with a quiet and kind soul. His gentle humour touched every life he encountered. Lorne moved through the world with patience and grace, offering warmth without needing attention, and laughter without needing the spotlight. <br> <br>Lorne joins his late adored parents, his mother, Yolande; father, Howard; and daughter, Melissa. He is survived by his beloved wife, Murielle; daughters, Jennifer and Kimberley; stepchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Mel, and their partners; grandchildren, Emmy and Auguste; and his many sisters and brothers, nieces, and nephews. <br> <br>His soft-spoken nature and quick wit made him a comforting presence and a cherished companion. He had a way of making others feel seen, supported, and at ease. <br> <br>Lorne will be forever missed, but never forgotten. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences on Sunday, February 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home ( 4275, Boul Des Source, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9B 2A6). A celebration of his life will follow at 12:00 p.m.</div>
