<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luciano Bastasi, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 93. We have lost a kind, talented and generous man who impacted all of our lives in so many ways. Husband of the late Pearl Bastasi, he leaves behind his daughters, Gilda (Frank) and Diana, his grandchildren, Jessica (David) and Bianca (Tom), as well as his greatgranddaughter, Alessia. He will be dearly missed by his niece, Louise (David), and nephew, Giulio as well as many other family members and friends here and in Italy. Special thanks to Dr. A. J. Maclean, Dr. Thomassin and Dr. Sehayek and the MUHC Palliative Care staff. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences on Monday, March 17th from 2pm to 5pm & from 7pm to 9pm, and on Tuesday, March 18th from 9am to 10am at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, Sources Blvd, DollarddesOrmeaux). A celebration of his life will take place thereafter at 11am at Our Lady of La Difesa Church (6800 Henri Julien Ave, Montreal, QC), followed by the burial at NotreDamedesNeiges Cemetery (4601, ch. De la CôtedesNeiges, Montreal, QC). <br> <br>In his memory, a donation to the MUHC Foundation care of The Palliative Care Services Foundation can be made. <br></div>
