As she joins her late husband (Robert) and older sisters; Alexa, Mary, Jenny and Eva, Lucy will be missed by her daughter Wendy (Danny), son Rodger (Laurie), her cousins, nieces and nephews and by all that knew her. <br> <br>Recipient of the Governor General’s Award for a Caring Canadian, The Queen’s Silver Medal, the Melita Woman of The Year Award and Lachine’s Volunteer Award, Lucy dedicated her life to improving the quality of life of others through her volunteer work with Meals On Wheels, The Women’s Institute, and the Canada Day Committee. <br> <br>Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff and volunteers at The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for the amazing care, compassion and affection you showed Lucy and for making her smile every day. <br> <br>Funeral service Saturday November 25th at 2:00 with reception to follow at 3:00 at Summerlea United Church 225-50th Avenue Lachine QC H8T 2T7. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated. <br></div>
