Mahmood Shahsavarani was born in Arak, Iran on February 4th, 1945 and passed away on January 13th, 2025 in Gatineau, Canada.
Mahmood was an entrepreneur who spent his years traveling, making friends everywhere he went. In 1989, he moved his family to Montreal, Canada, via the United Arab Emirates, seeking higher education and opportunities for his children.
A gentle and loving soul, Mahmood touched the lives of everyone he met with his warmth and compassion. He is survived by his children, Arash & Azar; his daughter-in-law Kathrina; his grandchildren Kiana, Miles and Kane as well as his brothers Hamid and Saeed.
Mahmood was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Zohreh Ferdowsi, and will be laid to rest by her side.
His playful nature, sense of humor, and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
