<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Marie Elizabeth Gordon, of NDG – Montreal announces her passing on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the age of 80 years. <br> <br>She will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews as well as relatives and friends from around the world. <br> <br>She was predeceased by Clothilda Deane (Nee: Sequeira); sister, Charles Sequeira: and her parents: (George and Margaret Gordon). <br> <br>Auntie Marie or tante Marie as she was affectionally known came from Bandra, (Mumbai) India over 40 years ago joining her sister and family. She courageously started a new life and career where she excelled as a pharmacy technician with Pharmaprix. She took excellent care of her mother (Nana Gordon) for many years until her passing. Auntie Marie was a great example to us all, she was a diligent worker, was dignified and very organized and had a remarkable memory. She always remembered everyone’s birthday and special days and was the person to consult for family events and stories taking place in India at home and abroad. She took part in her large extended family gatherings where she particularly enjoyed hearing of the accomplishments of her great nieces and nephews. Chocolates and mithai were some of her favourite treats! She loved to travel and was an avid reader. <br> <br>A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at St-Monica’s Church, 6405 rue de Terrebonne, Montréal, QC H4B 1A8. <br> <br>The family wishes to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and patient attendants (PAB’s) from the 5th Floor Main of St-Mary’s hospital for their kindness, care and compassion.</div>
