<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Mario Zaragosa Rimbao Jr. (AKA "Jun"). <br>Beloved husband to the late Princesita Jacinto Rimbao, Mario is survived by his children Theresa Ann (Francisco) and Mario Jacinto III (Roanne May), his grandchildren Miya Alyanne and Malayah Amani, his brother Victor (Rizalina), his sister Maura (late Wilfredo), and many nephews and nieces. <br> <br>Mario was one of the early pioneers of the Montreal Filipino Community, arriving in 1971 from Manila, working as a Medical Technologist in the Jewish General Hospital and the Reddy Memorial Hospital respectively. He was also one of the "founding fathers" of the community Philippine Basketball Association of Montreal (PBAM). He was loved and respected by many, he will be truly missed. <br> <br>The family will be receiving visitors during a 3 day period at the Rideau Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Dollard Des Ormeaux. <br> <br>Here is the schedule we worked out including the traditional Novena prayer times (Saturday has a break in between): <br>Friday, October 9: 2pm - 9pm (Novena prayers from 5:30pm- 6:00pm) <br>Saturday, October 10: 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm (Novena prayers from 3:00pm- 3:30pm <br>Sunday, October 11: 9am-12pm (Novena prayers from 10:30pm- 11:00 am) <br> <br>COVID 19 PROTOCOL <br>1) Usual Masks are required / Social distancing <br>2) We are allowed a maximum of 25 people at a time in the building (excluding staff) <br>There will be funeral home staff at the entrance to control the traffic: If the maximum number of 25 has been reached, we kindly ask you to wait patiently in the parking lot. I will also be going in and out so I can greet you at the entrance or in the parking lot. <br>3) Upon entering the building, the funeral home staff will kindly ask you to sign in your name with your cell number and they will also take your temperature. If your temperature is considered high, they will politely ask you to leave. <br>4) Due to COVID 19 concerns, the funeral home will not provide drinks or snacks. And unfortunately, we are not permitted to bring in food or refreshments in the building. So to my friends and family, please do not cook or prepare anything as is traditionally practiced in our Filipino culture. <br> <br>The Rimbao Family wish to express their gratitude for all prayers and words of encouragement during this difficult time. <br></div>
