<div itemprop="description">It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Cobb (née Flood), beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend. <br> <br>Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Marion’s life took a wonderful turn when she met Raymond Cobb, the love of her life. Together, they embarked on a new adventure, moving to Canada, marrying, and building a beautiful life and family in Montreal. <br> <br>Marion was the proud and loving mother of two daughters, Marianne (Martin) and Elaine (Ian). Family was always at the heart of Marion’s life, and there was no role she cherished more than being a mother and grandmother. Her heart grew even fuller with the arrival of her five adored grandchildren: Gabrielle (Mitchell), Alexandre, Ryan, Andrew, and Cameron. Each brought her immense joy and pride, and she treasured the time she spent with them. <br> <br>Marion was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Cobb, and her sisters, May Burnie and Margaret Moran. She leaves behind her brother, James Flood, as well as many nieces and nephews in the United Kingdom, who remained a cherished and important part of her life and family. <br> <br>Marion’s devotion to her daughters was unwavering. She worked tirelessly to ensure they had every opportunity to succeed and thrive and took enormous pride in the lives and families they built. Determined, hardworking, and resilient, Marion approached everything she did with dedication and purpose. Throughout her life, she wore many hats, including bookkeeper and preschool teacher, but the roles that meant the most to her were those of wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. <br> <br>Marion was a true and steadfast friend to many. She had a gift for listening and was someone people knew they could turn to. Her kindness, keen sense of humour, and sharp wit could brighten a room, and her laughter and unmistakable spirit will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known and loved her. <br> <br>Marion’s warmth, resilience, and quiet strength will be profoundly missed. Her legacy lives on in the family she loved so fiercely, the friendships she nurtured, and the countless memories that will continue to bring comfort, laughter, and love in the years ahead. <br> <br>“Those we love don’t go away; <br>They walk beside us every day. <br>Unseen, unheard, but always near, <br>Still loved, still missed, and very dear.” <br> <br>In keeping with Marion’s wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held with family and close friends.</div>
