<div itemprop="description"><br>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Frances Paterson, on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the age of 73.<br><br>Marion joined her beloved husband Malcom Paterson after two years apart. She will be remembered by sons Mark (Catherine) and Jesse (Kim), her grandchildren CJ (Mark), Mathew (Ember), Taylor, Amanda and Tanner. By her sister Gerry (Murray), sister-in-law Heather, brother-in-law Robby (Chris), cousins Diane and Linda, her many nieces and nephews and her adored pets Tasha and Cali. <br><br>Marion’s friends Ruth (Paul), Cheryl (Don) and Vivian (George) stayed by her side till the end and serve as a reminder of the love that Marion will leave in the world now that she`s gone. Marion was an intelligent and kind woman that loved knowledge, art and gardening. She spent her life spreading that love to her family and the people she met.<br><br>Marion fought a battle against cancer that took her too soon. The family would like to extend thanks to all the nurses and doctors on the 9th floor K wing Jewish General Hospital along with the special care given to her in the Palliative Care wing. A special thank you to Dr. Salvador, Dr. Gotlieb, Dr. Haw and Dr. Zigby for their compassion and the amazing care they provided to both her and her family.<br><br>The family will be celebrating her life at Rideau funeral home in Dollard des Ormeaux Thursday, January 17th, 1:30 to 4:30 (Memorial Service 2-2:30pm)<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to, West Island Cancer Wellness Center, Cancer Research or Nova. Thank you. <br></div>
