Marlitt Bartels (nee Schwarz)
1930 - 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marlitt Bartels (nee Schwarz), in L'Île-Bizard, QC, on her 92nd birthday.
Predeceased by her loving husband Wilhelm Bartels, she will be fondly remembered by her children Sylvia (Leland) and Ronald (Karen), and her grandchildren Kaitlin (Audrey) and Hannah (Anthony). She also leaves behind her brother Karlheinz, her nephews and nieces, as well as many other family and friends here and in Germany.
The family would like to give special thanks to the employees at the Résidence Sélection West Island, CHSLD Herron, and CHSLD Denis-Benjamin-Viger who made her life more enjoyable and for whom taking care of her was more than just a job.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, March 27th at 1 pm at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC - Tel. 514-685-3344), followed by a celebration of her life at 2 pm.
