Marlyn/Marilyn was born in Montreal, the first child of Elsie Daisy Nutley and Henry William Craig. She was the big sister to ; Norma (late Peter Languay), Joan (Pierre Lecomte) the late Patrick (late Alice Bohonis) and John (Diane Murphy).
She was Aunt Marilyn to; Deborah,Clifford,Christine,Shawn,Cheryl,Sharon,Cindy,Colleen,Charlene,David, Christopher,Craig,Michael, Donna and Gary. Marilyn had a special relationship with many of her nephews and nieces (sometimes teacher, sometimes sergeant) they learned how to ; fetch water from the well, gather eggs from the chicken coop, clean out the rabbit pens, weed the vegetable garden and haul wood for the fire. For many of us and our friends she offered her home in Ripon as a country escape.
At an age when many people start slowing down and thinking of retirement, Marilyn started a Seniors Home Care business which she eventually expanded to include a Seniors Retirement Home. Our family benefited significantly from her business activity as her residents included our parents and several aunts and uncles who received only the best care possible in their final years.
Marilyn loved to cook for small armies, to skate, tap dance and to care for a small zoo of animals, her spirited character will be remembered by all who knew her.

There will not be any visitation at the funeral home. Marilyn's wish is to be buried in the cemetery next to the church in Ripon. When details are available, they will be posted for those who wish to attend (likely August/September).
