<div itemprop="description"><br>It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marva on June 7, 2025. <br> <br>Devoted and loving wife of 50 years to the late Robert (Bob) De Filippo. <br> <br>Caring mother to Michael (Karen), Steven (Ingrid), Brian (Ana) and Omar, who was like a son. <br> <br>Doting grandmother to Michael Jr., Ryan, Jessica, Nicholas, Eva and Sofia. They were the source of her greatest joy. <br> <br>She leaves also to mourn her sister Toni (Brian), her sister-in-law Ann (Bill) and the late Mary (Gil). In addition many nieces and nephews and countless incredible friends. Proud godmother to Sean McCarry, Christina Prendergast and Tina Graziadei. She deeply cherished and looked forward to her daily conversations with Sheila, Kathy and Ann. <br> <br>Marva was happiest surrounded by family and friends. Celebrating holidays, maintaining traditions and enjoying a glass of wine while listening to her family‘s rendition of Sweet Caroline. <br> <br>She will leave a void in the lives of all who were blessed to have known her, and will forever be in our hearts. If given the opportunity she would’ve wanted to thank everyone for their friendship and love over the years. <br> <br>A special thank you to the healthcare professionals and caregivers the last couple of months, who made her daily life more comfortable. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, please consider a charity of your choice that is special to your heart to honor Marva’s memory. <br> <br>Visitation will take place on Wednesday June 25th from 5pm to 9pm and June 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service to remember and celebrate her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception.
