<div itemprop="description">Mary Hryciuk-Konek (née Marceniuk), born April 17th, 1927, a life well-lived until she passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2025. Her life was a testament to kindness, joy, and resilience. She was very caring and deeply loved by her family. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her first husband, Paul Hryciuk in 1957 and her second husband Alec Konek in 2003 as well as her brothers Leonard, Carl, John, Mike, Victor, Nick and her sister Rosie. <br> <br>Mary was a proud matriarch of a wide and loving family. She leaves a lasting impact on her three children, whom she was extremely close to, and their devoted spouses, Stephen (Dolly), Linda (Ron) and Robert (Louise). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Aralee, Cynthia (Eric), Sandy (Guy), Dayna (Mike), Gavin (Catherine), Matthew, Sarah (David), as well as her eight great-grandchildren, Emma, Darcy (Emily), Katrina, Dante, William, Justin, Gracelynn & Caleb. <br> <br>Mary will be remembered for her strong will and determination, her generosity, her concern for everyone as well as her sense of fashion. <br>Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday July 19th at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The burial will be held in a private ceremony at the request of the family. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, Mary requested that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. <br> <br>A heartfelt and sincere thank you to Dr. Marie Caroline Piché and the dedicated staff at Ste. Anne's Hospital, where Mary spent the last two years in your compassionate care. Your kindness, professionalism, and support brought comfort and dignity to her life, for which we are deeply grateful. <br></div>
