<div itemprop="description">Maureen Graham, aged 88, passed away peacefully on January 7th. Maureen was a nurse who worked at the Catherine Booth and the Lakeshore General Hospital. She also worked as a nurse in London, Edinburgh, and Seattle. She worked briefly in hospital management, but her true passion was in working directly with patients. She brought caring, calm, and common sense wherever she went - to know her was to love her. <br> <br>Maureen valued friends and family very highly. She will be deeply missed by her lifelong friend, Muriel, by her sister, Elvina, and niece and nephews, Hazel, David, and Trevor. And though she had no children herself, she was in every way a mother to Mark (Merrie), grandmother to Beth (Yassine), Emma (Levi), Joey (Audrey) and Erin, and great-grandmother to Leila and Eli. <br> <br>A celebration of life, at Rideau Funeral Home, is planned for Saturday (Feb. 10th) at 10:00 am. <br></div>
