<div itemprop="description"><br>It is with great sorrow and much love that we say goodbye to Mercy, a beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, who sadly passed on June 4th 2025 at the age of 71. <br>Mercy was born on May 13th, 1954 in Neendoor, Kottayam to (Late) K.C. Chacko B.A Kandarappallil and (Late) Annamma Chacko Kalarickal. <br>Mercy was an ardent learner who earned the title of 1st Rank Holder at Kerala University’s B.Sc Home Science program in 1974 after which she completed her Masters Degree (M.Sc) as a Dietician from Madras University. <br>She was a fierce believer in justice, discipline and politics, and was a proud member of the NCC (National Cadet Corps - Officer Rank) alongside her academic studies. <br>Despite her aversion to the cold, she followed her heart, ignited by her passion for travel, and moved to Quebec after marrying Ninan Isaac Perumpallikattu on February 21st 1977. <br>Her heartfelt dedication to education was demonstrated in her completion of a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, while working hard to rise in the ranks at the pillar of learning that is McGill University. <br>She retired as a Senior IT Project Manager and Trainer from McGill University after 43 years in 2021, all the while continuing to be driven by her constant willingness to learn.. be it making jewelry, reading, playing billiards, Mahjong, or Canasta. <br>Mercy will eternally be remembered by her loving husband Ninan, her 2 children Benjamin and Sandhya, her daughter-in-law Suzanne, her 3 grandchildren Amelia, Naomi, Sophia, and her precious puppy Stella. <br>Mercy will be sadly missed by her siblings and their families: <br>9 Siblings: (late) Joy & Valsamma Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New York), (late) Jolly & (late) Felix Naduvilaparambil (Kumarakom), Lucy & (late) Jose Mattam (Montreal), Alex Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New York), Elsy Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (North Carolina), Tomy & Shilly Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (Neendoor), Jomon & Mary Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New Jersey), Shiney Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (Toronto), Jaimol & Joby Thomas Kalapurackal (Tampa, Florida). <br>Mercy's light and laughter… Will forever be remembered by all those whose lives she touched… <br> <br>Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Québec H9B 2A6 on Friday, June 20th 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday June 21st 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service and Celebration of Mercy's Life at 11:00 a.m. <br> <br> <br> <br></div>
