<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Metaxia Tourlas, beloved and devoted wife of George Tourlas of 62 years. She leaves behind her loving children John (Renée-Claude Landry) and Zaharias (Jennifer Batrie); her cherished grandchildren Eva (Eikel Aliko), Maximos, and Zoe. <br> <br>Daughter of the late Rebecca and Zaharias Kripotos, sister to her beloved siblings; Marika (the late Costadino), Pinio (Christos), her late sister Helen (the late Dimitri), and her late brothers Vassily (Dimitra) and Michael (Nota). <br> <br>Metaxia was born in the beautiful town of Pakia, region of Laconia, Greece. She immigrated to Montreal in 1961 where she would devote her life to working hard and raising her two sons. Metaxia will be remembered for her absolute love of family, especially her grandchildren who meant the world to her. She also cared deeply for all her adoring nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Love, laughter, and generosity is how Metaxia will be remembered by all who had the good fortune to spend time with her. She will be deeply missed. <br> <br>Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B 2A6 on Wednesday, June 21st, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Constantine & Helen's Orthodox Church, 20 Brunswick Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B 2N8. <br> <br>Family and friends who would like to join the family virtually are welcome to use the following link to the Livestream platform: https://fweb.tv/103796 <br> <br></div>
