A blue-collar worker, he devoted himself not only to his family but to friends, neighbors, and even strangers, leaving a lasting impression through his generosity and quiet kindness. <br> <br>A passionate fan of European football and the Montreal Canadiens, Michael was also an avid lover of the outdoors and nature, finding joy in camping, road trips, and exploring the beauty of provincial and national parks. <br> <br>He is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Luna; his eldest son, Eric Ellinger, and daughter-in-law, Aegyoung Park; his daughter, Diana Ellinger; and his youngest son, Steven Ellinger, and daughter-in-law, Sophie Hébert.
