<div itemprop="description">Nader Abadir, age 75, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, March 20, 2025, after a one-month stay at the Royal Victoria Hospital. He fought a viral-induced cardiomyopathy since age 44 in 1994, and benefitted tremendously from the excellent care of physicians, surgeons and nurses in our province and the numerous advances in cardiology throughout the decades. <br> <br>He will sadly be missed by those he leaves behind and for whom he cared so much – his wife, Nadia Rubaschkin Abadir, and his son, Christopher Alexander Abadir, as well as his extended family, old friends and colleagues in/around Montreal, in the Laurentians and in Egypt. <br> <br>Born in Ismailia, Egypt, in 1950 to Albert Aziz Abadir and Awatef Ghabbour, Nader came to Montreal, Canada in November 1973 with dreams of new opportunities. He graduated from Concordia University, worked tirelessly for many years as an Electric Engineer, and travelled broadly for his work in implementing telecommunication technologies in various industries worldwide. He had a passion for following soccer and loved going out to restaurants and travelling on vacations with his family. <br> <br>"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." – Psalm 73:26 <br> <br>---- <br> <br>Nader Abadir, âgé de 75 ans, est décédé paisiblement le matin du jeudi, 20 mars, 2025, après un mois d'hospitalisation à l'hôpital Royal Victoria. Il s'est battu contre une cardiomyopathie d'origine virale depuis l'âge de 44 ans en 1994, et a tiré énormément de bénéfices des soins d'excellence parmi les médecins, chirurgiens et infirmières de notre province et des nombreux avancements en cardiologie pendant plusieurs décennies. <br> <br>Il manquera à ceux qu'il laisse derrière et qu'il aimait tellement – son épouse, Nadia Rubaschkin Abadir, et son fils, Christopher Alexander Abadir, ainsi que sa famille étendue, ses amis et collègues aux alentours de Montréal, des Laurentides et en Égypte. <br> <br>Né en Ismailia, Égypte, en 1950, à Albert Aziz Abadir et Awatef Ghabbour, Nader est venu s'installer à Montréal, Canada, en novembre 1973 en poursuivant ses rêves de nouvelles opportunités. Il a gradué de l'Université Concordia, a travaillé incessamment pour plusieurs années en tant qu'ingénieur électrique et a voyagé largement afin de mettre en oeuvre des technologies en télécommunication dans des industries variées à travers le monde. Il avait une passion pour écouter le soccer et adorait sortir aux restaurants et voyager en vacances avec sa famille. <br> <br>"Mon corps et mon cœur peuvent s’épuiser, mais Dieu sera toujours le rocher de mon cœur et ma bonne part." – Psaume 73:26</div>
