Bismillah al rahman al rahim

I would like to thank everyone that have come and celebrated my moms passing to her after life.

As we all know she was a social butterfly and loved a gathering for every occasion.

She was a strong, joyful but sometimes eager lady. Always thoughtful to others and always with good intentions.

From coordinating kid’s plays, banquets, immigration policies, and presidential interviews to booking Egyptian singers and actors to come and entertain us thru out the night. With the help of many, she took the intuitive to put her beloved country Egypt on the Canadian map.

Aside from her family, her love for her native country and her adopted one in Canada was always her true love. Whether it was the radio, a newspaper or television, she will always be remembered and be known to bring the both together with the power of her voice through a microphone and camera.

I would like to think of this day not as a day we lost someone we loved but a day we will remember her as she would want us too. With laughter, joy and good memories she brought to all of us through-out the years.

Mom was born on February 3rd 1937 and passed on the morning of July 24th 2018. She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 55 years, by her Son Hisham (Nadia) and daughter Cherine, by her 3 grand-kids Farrah, Adam, and Dahlia.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank a very special person who has been by my mothers bedside through-out the past 6 years. Fatiha …thank you for being part of our family and caring for my mom as she was your own. From pampering her with manicures, hairdo’s and dressing her up with her favorite Jewelry to daily feedings. You are a true blessing and will always love you.

Finally I would just like to end by saying today we did not lose a beautiful soul for we know exactly where she is. She is in our thoughts, prayers and memories forever. She will be missed but never forgotten.

On behalf of my family. Thank you for all being a part of her life.
