It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished MUMMI, Nancy Rissanen (Unnam), born on May 9th, 1931, who departed on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, in Dollard-des-Ormeaux at the age of 92.
Nancy was the devoted wife of the late Pauli Rissanen (1984) and was preceded in death by her only sibling, a sister in Finland, Eila Orvoki Unnam (2020).
A loving Aiti, Mummi, and Iso Mummi, Nancy’s memory will forever be cherished by her friends and family both in Canada and Finland.
We express our sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Chateau Dollard for their care during Nancy’s time there.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the enduring beauty she created and the love she shared.
The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Saturday January 20th as of 2:30 pm followed by a service at 3:30 pm.
