<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished MUMMI, Nancy Rissanen (Unnam), born on May 9th, 1931, who departed on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, in Dollard-des-Ormeaux at the age of 92.<br><br>Nancy was the devoted wife of the late Pauli Rissanen (1984) and was preceded in death by her only sibling, a sister in Finland, Eila Orvoki Unnam (2020).<br><br>A loving Aiti, Mummi, and Iso Mummi, Nancy’s memory will forever be cherished by her friends and family both in Canada and Finland.<br><br>We express our sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Chateau Dollard for their care during Nancy’s time there.<br><br>May she rest in peace, surrounded by the enduring beauty she created and the love she shared.<br><br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Saturday January 20th as of 2:30 pm followed by a service at 3:30 pm.<br><br>Those who wish to join the family virtually may do so by using the following link to our Livestream platform: https://fweb.tv/115810<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson’s research would be appreciated.
