<div itemprop="description">Norman was born in Montreal on June 4th, 1930, the last surviving of seven children born to Ann Phillips and Ernest Redfern. He left us on December 4th, 2021 at the age of 91.<br><br>Married to Margaret (Rady) for more than 72 years, he<br>was the father of five daughters, Margo (Robert), Gail (Russell), <br>Sandra (Marc), Diane (Yvan) and Nancy. He was Papa to ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.<br><br>Norman was an entrepreneur and small business owner, and he held the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant. He was a good golfer and an avid tennis player who enjoyed being around people. Music brought him much joy. In his younger years there was always a radio or record player filling the house with music. He especially took pleasure and comfort from his home in Florida, where he wintered for more than 27 years with Margaret. <br><br>He wanted to explore the world and did just that on many cruises<br>with Margaret and a group of cruising friends. His adventures took<br>him to every continent and many ports of call.<br><br>Norman ended his days at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care<br>Residence, where he received exceptional care. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of the residence for their kindness and compassion. The music sessions with Dan were a highlight of his stay at the residence. <br><br>Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC). Visitors will be required to wear a mask at all time, disinfect their hands upon entry, respect social distancing and preferably be fully vaccinated. <br><br><br>A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather.
