It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Santamaria on February 17th 2025, at the age of 74. A devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind his wife Marianela and daughter Daniela. He is also survived by his sister Joann (Berry) and held fond memories of his late brother, Daniel (Nina). He was dearly loved by all his nieces and nephews, Caroline (David), Claudia (Andrew), Candice (Corey), his godson Andrew (Tina), Cloe, Elizabeth (Duwayne), Sophia (Chris), and David (Khana). His kind spirit and warm humour will always be remembered.
Norman loved his family and friends deeply, his career as an air traffic controller, travelling the world, and his church community.
His love for adventure was remarkable, whether fishing, flying, or boating. He knew how to have a good time.
Friends and family are invited to gather at Rideau Funeral Home on March 16th, from 5-9PM for visitation. A service will be held on Monday, March 17th at 11:00AM to celebrate his life.
