It is with sad hearts that the family of Olive announces her passing peacefully at her residence in Pointe-Claire.

Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Elsie Coventry and Percival Jenner.

Olive was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Weir. She was the loving mother of Carolyn and the late Pamela. She was also the proud grandmother of Debbie, David, Robert (Francine), Michael (Jackie), Thomas (Joanna) and Stephen (Marisa). Olive was also happy to have been blessed with five beautiful great grandchildren Christopher, Kayla, Nathan, James, and Jonathan. Also missing her is her good friend Sandy.

Her priority in life was her family, always giving and caring. But she also had a way of making everyone feel special with her warm welcoming smile. We all have fond memories of family gatherings at her home during the holidays, vacations, and fun times including trips to the amusement park, the racetrack, the bingo hall, and the casino.

Olive had a great love of life and positive outlook which resonated with those around her and may have helped her to reach the ripe old age of 103.
Thanks go out to the kind and compassionate people who looked after her in her later years including those from the Chateau Royal and Bayview nursing homes.

“What a wonderful life”

The family will receive condolences at a reception as of 12:00 which will be followed by a service at 1:00pm on Friday, July 28 at the Rideau Funeral Home 4275 Sources Blvd, D.D.O., Quebec.
