It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paraskevi (Voula) Triantopoulos Skoularicos, on December 10th, 2021. Loving mother and grandmother, she passed away peacefully after a short battle with an aggressive cancer at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.

“Her Wings were ready but our hearts were not”

Beloved wife of 49 years to her predeceased husband Christos, loving mother to her two sons and their wives, Michael and Jodie and Christos Jr. and Charm, very proud grandmother to Ryan, Stephanie, Elektra and Sophia. She also leaves behind a loving sister, Angeliki (Kiki) and many wonderful in-laws, nephews and nieces whom she held dear to her heart.

Paraskevi was born in Iameia, Greece. After leaving Greece and meeting the love of her life, Christos, together, they built a beautiful family and legacy in Canada.
She lived for and cherished all her time spent with family and friends, but especially her grandchildren. She had an unquestionable love of all living things, especially her grand-dogs, butterflies, birds, her loving garden and all other animals. Undeniably strong and resilient, Paraskevi proved her true inner strength and fierce independence after surviving the loss of the love of her life over nine and a half years ago.

We wish to extend a very special thanks to the nursing staff at the McGill University Health Centre (Glen Site, 8th floor C) and all the loving staff at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for their amazing kindness, compassion and support in ensuring Paraskevi’s comfort in her last days.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, (copy/paste) https://residencesoinspalliatifs.ca/en/, in Paraskevi’s honour, would be greatly appreciated.

Μια Ωραια Πεταλουδα
Mia Orea Petalouda
One Beautiful Butterfly

The visitation and funeral will be held on Friday December 17th, 2021 as per Paraskevi’s wishes.

***Due to Covid 19 social distancing protocols (2 metres/6 feet) and government regulations, masks are required at all times while inside the building. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed in the visitation room at any one time, so during the 4-hour visitation period, please keep in mind the length and timing of your visit, to grant access to all those wishing to pay their respects.***
