Patricia Fulleringer (nee West)
November 17, 2017: surrounded by her family, Patricia Fulleringer passed away very peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
Pat was born in Abingdon England. She attended St. Helen and St. Katharine boarding school for girls and later Oxford School of Architecture. She married George Fulleringer in 1953. They traveled to Morocco, the Canary Islands, France, Switzerland, and Italy before moving to Canada in 1958 where they settled in Dorval to raise their family.

She was a long-time volunteer, always helping out somewhere. She worked with the Boy Scouts of Canada, Dorval Gardens and Dorval High School home and school committees, and at Lindsay Place High School library. She was also a committed member of the Dorval Historical Society. She enjoyed needlework of all kinds: embroidery, quilting, crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitch. With her creative talents, she made sure her family was well-supplied with warm sweaters and mittens.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband in 1999 and is survived by her five children: Simon (Susan Kojima), Nicholas (Fernande Leblanc), Penelope (Tobias Glickman), Denis and Christopher (Irene Zsak) and grandchildren Megan (Alex Newman), Mark, Miyoko (Greg Redling), Paul, Hilary, Valerie, Alexander, Sarah and Adam.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the wonderful caregivers at both the Résidence La Source Dorval and the West Island Palliative Care Residence in Pointe-Claire. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be most appreciated.

"If by chance you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you."
