With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Anne, who peacefully left us in the early hours of November 14, 2024. A woman of love, kindness, and grace, Anne will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Anne was the cherished wife of Neil Graddon, with whom she shared 40 years of love, laughter, and partnership. She was a nurturing mother to her two daughters, Sheri (Stephen Weidner) and Christine (Richie Habib). Her greatest joy came in being a “Nana” to her four grandchildren—Madison, Dominic, Justin, and Jordan—and a “fur mom” to her beloved dog Rosy. Anne was also a cousin to Coleen, with whom she shared a bond that was like that of sisters. Anne’s love for her family was endless, and her loving presence will be missed by each and every one of them.
Anne faced life’s challenges with remarkable courage, always with strength and dignity.
"Her courage was her crown and she wore it like a queen." - Atticus
Family and friends are invited to join us to celebrate Anne’s life on Friday, November 22, 2024. The family will receive condolences at the Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery (4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, H9B 2A6). Visitation will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a small reception from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre (wicwc.com), a cause that was close to Anne’s heart.
