<div itemprop="description">Peacefully, with family by her side, Pat passed away on February 23, 2026, at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, QC., after a courageous battle with cancer. <br> <br>Born on February 2, 1938, in Saint John, NB, to the late John Frances and Ethel Lloyd (nee Cross), Pat spent her adult years in Montreal. She started as a lab technician but spent most of her life raising her cherished family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul McDonald, daughter Susan, son John (Sue McMillan) and her 2 grandsons Matthew and Jeffery Meikle. Sadly, she was predeceased by her daughter Cathy, her granddaughter Angela Meikle, and her son-in-law, Duncan Meikle. <br> <br>Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital, the Royal Victoria Hospital, and the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, for taking such good care of “mom”, not only from a medical perspective but for all the personal, human touches as well. <br> <br>Visitation will be held on Wed., March 18, 2026, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4239 Sources Blvd., Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, QC, H9B 2A6. Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Thurs., March 19, 2026, at St. Edmund of Canterbury Parish, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd. (corner of St-Charles Blvd.) Beaconsfield, QC.
