Kaiser, Paul Walter – passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.
Paul was born on July 23, 1930 in Bonn, Germany. He immigrated to Canada in June 1953 and made his way to Ottawa where he met the love of his life Louise Rainboth. They were married on June 9, 1956. A few years later, his career with the CBC brought them to Montreal. They enjoyed many happy years in their home in Dollard-des-Ormeaux as well as two stimulating years working on contract for the CBC at the Canadian Broadcasting Center in Toronto.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Louise and his children Susan (Sam Watts), Kevin (Christine Xavier), Ian (Corrine Serruya). He was extremely close to, and proud of, his grandchildren Dominique, Paul (Silvia), Rachel, Madison and Sydney. Paul was a life-long learner, a voracious reader, a connoisseur of fine food, and overall bon vivant.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas à Becket church (4320 Saint-Anne St., Pierrefonds) on May 2nd, 2025 at 11h00 am, followed by a celebration of life at 12h45 pm at Rideau Memorial Gardens (4239 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux).
The family wishes to express profound gratitude to the wonderful team at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence where Paul was able to spend his last few days.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made, in Paul’s name, to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
