<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paulette (Paula to her friends), on Tuesday, February 11th 2025, at the age of 80. <br> <br>She was a woman of strength, love, and unwavering dedication to her family. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Paula immigrated to Canada with her sisters in the late 1960s in search of new opportunities. It was in Montreal that she met the love of her life, Georges, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love & resilience. Paula was a cherished friend to many and found great happiness in the company of those she held dear. She was known for her kindness, warmth, and the ability to make any gathering feel like home. <br> <br>She will be fondly remembered by her children Monique and Eric, her daughter in law Karen and son in law Johnny, and her grandchildren Alexandre, Tristan, Isabella and Julia. She also leaves behind her sisters Denise, Miriam and Tanya, as well as many other family and friends. <br> <br>A special thanks to all her friends and family, who surrounded her in her last few weeks, making her feel loved and special. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Sunday February 23rd, from 2-4pm, followed by a service at 4 pm, and a second visitation from 7-9 pm. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Center can be made through their website (https://residencesoinspalliatifs.ca/en/donate/).
