<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that the family of Pauline Hopkins ( Cote ) announces her passing at the VigiSante in Dollard des Ormeaux on October 19th, the day after her 100th birthday!<br><br><br>Pauline was a devoted wife ( predeceased by her husband Howard who passed away in 2018 ), mother of three sons ( Richard, Mark and Michael ), grandmother of three grandchildren <br><br>( Cynthia, Letitia and Danielle ) and great grandmother of two great grandsons ( Teo and Damien ).<br><br> <br>She will be deeply missed by her family, extended family and close friends.<br><br>She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends, and was equally fierce in her beliefs and convictions. A lady whose strength and ferocity was belied by her small stature.<br><br><br>A sincere thanks to the Dollard Vigi, who all helped her feel 'at home' and supported with her assisted living challenges ( and in particular Joseph and Malika who were especially close and kind to her )<br><br><br>A celebration of Pauline's life will be held at the Rideau Funeral Home located at 4275 Boulevard des Sources in Dollard des Ormeaux. Visitation will be on Thursday Oct 29th from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and Friday Oct 30 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, and on Saturday Oct 31st a celebration of life ceremony from 11:00AM to 12:00 and lunch reception afterwards from 12:00 to 2:00.</div>
