<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of <br>Peter Oelmann, after a lengthy struggle with terminal cancer. <br> <br> <br>He was happily married 30 years and is survived by his wife Carole Taylor, daughter Gail Oelmann, son Derek Oelmann, and his beloved grandchildren Justin, Kyle, Matthew Spenard and Savi Oelmann. <br> <br>Born in Hamburg, Germany on January 14, 1935 to Anna Oelmann and Peter Moser. He moved to Montreal, Canada in 1956 where he later graduated from McGill University with an Engineering degree. <br> <br>He was Chief Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, Canada for 10 years and then started an Industrial Water Filtration Company with a couple of his engineering partners. <br> <br>He then became successful in real estate, renovation and property management. <br> <br>Peter’s real shine was when he was introduced to Network Marketing where he met his wife Carole Taylor ! They had tons of fun together as they grew a large international network marketing enterprise focused on Wellness .. nutritional supplements for energy, weight loss and beauty. <br> <br>In fact, Peter became the famous Poster Boy around the globe, known affectionately as Speedo-Peter, for his amazing product success. <br> <br>He made many friends and business partners throughout Canada, the US and around the world who love him dearly. <br> <br>Peter was always friendly, upbeat, helpful and known for his amazing smile, sense of humour and his zest for fun. <br> <br>At age of 80, he blew us all away as he danced non-stop all evening at our local business Christmas gathering. <br> <br>Truly an amazing human ~ non-judgmental, lighthearted, honest, and gentle. <br> <br>Our Precious Peter will be greatly missed by many and will live forever in our hearts ! We all cherish what he has done for us. <br> <br>The family had a private candlelight service for Peter. <br> <br>A Celebration of Life for Peter will be held later in the summer and we will notify all friends and family. <br> <br>We will always remember the wonderful care provided by the loving, caring staff and volunteers at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence where Peter lived and was cared for during the last 5 months of his final journey on earth.
