<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philip Descent, on January 24, 2024 at the age of 72. <br> <br>Predeceased by his wife, Sandra Stanely and his son, Philip Austin. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Trinette and his grandchildren, Jake and Logan Brown. He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Eric (Suzanne Jackson), Catherine (Hani Sayegh) and Margaret, his nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends, colleagues and former students. He touched all those with his kindness and wisdom. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home (4275. Boul des Sources, DDO QC, H9B2A6) on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 9:30am to 11am follow by the celebration of life at 11am. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the kidney foundation in his memory. <br> <br>The family would like to thank Mauryn and Catherine for their support in cleaning and companionship, over the past few years. Special thanks to Dale Veziina for her support and time spends helping him over the last decade right up to the end. <br></div>
