It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pierre Dagher, who peacefully began his eternal journey on February 11, 2026, with his loving wife and son by his side.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 44 years, Noelle Khoury, and by his children: Elie (Meaghan), Simon (Kristina), and Michel.
He cherished his role as “Ghedo” and leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Lauren Petra, Olivia Colette, Juliet Rose, and Dax, who brought him immense pride and joy.
A man of great intellect and quiet adventure, Pierre began his career contributing to the advancement of early computing. Though both he and Noelle were from Alexandria, Egypt, fate brought them together across the Atlantic, and he ultimately chose to make Montreal his home. There, they built a life rooted in family, hospitality, and faith.
Pierre was a good man of generosity and warmth. Many hold fond memories of gatherings at the Dagher residence, where laughter, conversation, and a welcoming table were constants. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a steadfast father, and a proud grandfather. Pierre placed his family first in all things, fulfilling his role as provider and pillar with quiet strength and unwavering dedication.
His legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Paroisse Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation (9501 Boulevard Gouin Ouest, Pierrefonds, QC H8Y 1T7).
A second visitation will take place at Paroisse Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation on Monday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens (701 Avenue Donegani, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 5G6).
All are invited to a reception in the church basement immediately after the burial.
We appreciate your support and condolences during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Comité des bénéficiaires de l’Hôpital Ste-Anne (https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/comite-des-beneficiaires-de-lhopital-ste-anne-de-bellevue/), in support of the institution where he received exceptional care and dignity in his final years.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
