<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Pietro Umberto Serrao, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 90. <br> <br>Father to Franco (Mary), Dora (Gino), Nella (Johnny), and Anna (Ilio). A proud grandfather to Joe (Rita), Jonathan (Jasmine), Jason (Virginie), Selina (John), Leana, Luca, Marco (Kristina), and Cristiano, and a cherished great-grandfather to little Mia. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his devoted companion of 10 years, Vincenza, along with her children and grandchildren. <br> <br>Pietro was predeceased by his beloved wife, Angelina, and by his siblings Vincenzo, Teresa, Antonio, Maria, and Dora. <br> <br>Our father will be fondly remembered for his deep love of country life and all that came with it the simple joys, family meals, his willingness to help others, and the strong work ethic he passed on to his family. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. <br> <br>Visitation and Service <br> <br>Family and friends will be received at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6 (514) 685 3344, on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, from 9:30A.M. to 11:00 AM followed by spiritual service 11:00AM. Mr. Serrao will be placed to rest with his beloved wife Angelina in the Rideau Mausoleum at 12:00 P.M. Where they will be together forever. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.</div>
