<div itemprop="description">Ping Chun (June) Eng, 91, of Montreal, passed away peacefully February 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. <br> <br>June was born in Toishan, China November 1, 1933, and immigrated to Canada in 1958 to join her husband to be, Shin Yick (Jack) Eng. She had seven children. She is predeceased by her eldest daughter, Diana. She is survived by her husband of 67 years and her children Amy (Thomas), Sally (Denis), Susan (Tom), Mary (John), Jenny (Bill), and Gordon. She is survived by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. <br> <br>Given the size of her family, June led a very busy life. She was a loving wife and mother with a large household to manage. Somehow, she was able to find balance between loving us, disciplining us, and instilling the importance of obtaining an education. She demonstrated exemplary organizational skill in running the household and emphasized the importance of learning new skills, self reliance and a strong work ethic. <br> <br>June was a tiny person with a big heart and the most boisterous laugh. As her children became more independent, she took pleasure in gardening, playing mahjong, watching Korean soap operas with Diana, video chatting and “YouTubing”, and socializing with family and friends. She will be missed but forever live in our hearts. <br> <br>Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Rideau Funeral Home and Cemetery. from 10:30-12:30, followed by the funeral service AT 12:30. <br> <br>Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada. <br></div>
