<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the transition of Ralph John Plata, <br>age 90, of San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago. Ralph departed this life on May 13th, 2026, at <br>Mount Sinai Hospital in Montreal, Canada. <br> <br>He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Plata and Albertina Thomas, and his three <br>siblings, Leon, Walter, and Jeanette. <br> <br>He is lovingly survived by his wife of 67 years, Josephine (Votor); their five children, Erica, <br>Joy, Anthony (Flavia), Alexander (Glenn), and Angie (Wayne); his 11 adored grandchildren; <br>and his 4 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his dear nephews, Michael, Adrian, <br>Tyrone, and Demitri. <br> <br>Ralph was a loving, present father and a hardworking man who served as the cornerstone of <br>our family. He was a true mentor, teacher, and father figure to many. <br> <br>He will be deeply missed.
