<div itemprop="description"><br>Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka to Mary Theresa Ranee Mylevaganam, and Anthony Ratneiya. <br>Ranjit was the twin of his sister Ranjana, and brother of an additional 7 siblings. <br>He is survived by his dear Mother Mary Theresa Ranee, his older brothers: Bernard, Bertram and Edmund, his older sisters: Roselyn and Jacintha, and younger brother, Christopher; as well as, brothers- and-sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and an army of friends. <br>He was preceded in death by his loving father, Anthony, and his dear brother George. <br>Augustus left Sri Lanka for France, where he lived for a few years before joining his family who had slowly made their way to Canada. <br>Augustus, Augy, Ranjit, by whatever name you knew him, he was a true friend, a brother in Christ. He embraced the beliefs of Seven Days Adventist Church with passion and dedication. His belief in the Lord as his Savior came above all else, with no compromise. <br>He had incredible leadership qualities, and a constant thirst for knowledge. <br>Despite the affliction of a crippling and painful condition, rheumatoid arthritis, he always maintained a positive and inspiring attitude. <br>We will miss you terribly, dearest Ranjit, but you will always remain in our heart. <br>Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the funeral will be private. A memorial service will take place at a more appropriate time. <br>A zoom link is available for family and close friends for the funeral service on Friday, ,January 22nd, 2021 at 3:45 pm. <br> <br>You may also join the livestream of this service.
