It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reginald Ernest Timm on September 6th, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Anne's Hospital. As a proud Veteran, he took part in many activities during the months he lived there, and his family extends heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff on the 12th floor for the exceptional care they gave him.

Reginald will be forever missed by his wife of 69 years, Sheila; his children Cindy (Steve), Carolyn (Neil), Douglas (predeceased), Brian (Jennifer), and Colleen; his grandchildren Lesley (Dallas), Kirk (Megan), Courtney (Justin), Quinn (Amandine), Justin, Eden (Miryam), Jarod (Angela), Kate, and Alyssa; and his great-grandchildren Reese, Leah, Nicolas, Nora, Theo, and Alizée.

Above all, Reginald was devoted to his family and took great pride in each of them. He proudly served in the Navy as a young man, and later worked at General Foods and Kraft Foods until his retirement. He enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage, chess, reading, keeping up with politics, and the company of family and friends.

Reginald's life will be honoured at Rideau Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, DDO. Visitation will take place Sunday, September 13th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, and Monday, September 14th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, followed by a celebration of life from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and a reception immediately after.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
