<div itemprop="description">Robert (Bob) MacKinnon <br> <br>February 11, 1946 - November 28, 2024 <br> <br> <br> <br>After a long illness, it is with great sadness to announce the passing of Bob MacKinnon, who peacefully slipped away from this life, surrounded by family. He will always be remembered with love by Silvana LoSchiavo, and each and every one of his family members, here in Montréal. <br> <br>After a long career with Air Canada of 40 years, which he enjoyed tremendously, he had made many friends and had met many people in his travels and would be remembered by colleagues as someone with a wonderful personality and representative of Air Canada. <br> <br>He was pre--deceased by his parents Clarence MacKinnon and Helen Holmes and sister Betty all of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Bob touched the lives of all who knew him with his sense of humor, warmth and kindness. He will be fondly remembered for his outgoing and gregarious personality, always the one looking to have fun. <br> <br>A brief viewing will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Québec on Tuesday December 10th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. followed by the cremation. Subsequent to that, his ashes will be transported to his beloved Halifax, where he will be laid to rest in his family plot at Oakridge Memory Gardens in Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia.</div>
