This week the world lost one of the most incredible souls. He was the most resilient, adventurous,
intelligent and loving person. He taught his children (Richard and Meghan) to be strong. He was the
purest example while fighting cancer for the 3 rd time. He never wavered or spoke of giving up. He never
took a day to rest, always working on some new project around the house or out windsurfing, playing
Pickleball or even 18 holes of golf until days before he was hospitalized at the JGH.
He appreciated every day and taught his children to live life to the fullest. He showed others how to
have fun, always pulling pranks on others and making funny faces at the camera. He loved his wife,
Jenny Milne-Smith, dearly and spoke of her as his guardian angel. He supported his children with
unwavering encouragement on all their journeys. He had the biggest heart for all furry animal members
that joined our family, always looking forward to spending time with the dogs or having a cat curl up on
his lap.
He will be forever loved and missed. Let his soul now be at peace.
