<div itemprop="description">Rudy Romagnino, beloved husband of 61 years to Lucy Romagnino, devoted father to Tony and Rita, cherished grandfather to Azia, and adored father-in-law to Karen, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024. <br> <br>Born on April 21, 1938, Rudy was the much-loved son of Bruno and Vita, and the youngest brother to Orlando, Ronaldo, and Elvira. Family was everything to Rudy and that began with the great love of his life Lucy; a romance that spanned the ages. He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and compassion, and was treasured by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. <br> <br>Rudy was a passionate painter and artist. His artwork has been exhibited in multiple art galleries and commercial venues throughout North America. Today his paintings continue to hang in the many homes of family and friends around the world. <br> <br>Rudy enjoyed a thirty-year career at Air Canada which was rewarding and inspiring. His hard work and dedication allowed him to retire at the young age of 52. Revered and respected by so many across the travel industry, upon retirement he was widely celebrated and honoured for his achievements. Rudy will be forever remembered for his charisma and his infectious loving smile; he will be dearly missed. <br> <br>Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 6th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery (4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6) followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4:00 pm, and a light buffet will be served after the ceremony. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, Quebec, where the care for Rudy and support for the family were unsurpassed. Thank you.</div>
