<div itemprop="description">WWII Veteran – Royal Canadian Corps of Signals <br> <br>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the age of 103. <br> <br>Predeceased by his loving and devoted wife Grace and his beloved second wife Mariette Lavoie. <br> <br>He leaves behind his dear children Carol Walton (John), Brian (Cathy), Phil (Susan) and his 6 grandchildren Diane, Darren, Kaela, Andrea, Elaine, Johanna. He was also blessed with 4 great grandchildren, Cole, Bradley, Kayden and Remick. Cherished brother of his surviving siblings Edouard, Thelma, Yvon, Jean-Claude as well as many nieces and nephews. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a cause dear to your heart would be appreciated by the family. <br> <br>Rest in peace Dad. Your memory will live on forever in our hearts. <br> <br>A Celebration of Life will be held at Rideau Funeral Home on Thursday, May 18th, starting at 11:00 am.</div>
