It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Roger Greaves on September 14, 2025, surrounded by his family at Anna Laberge Hospital in Châteauguay. He was the son of the late Wilbert and Sylvia Greaves, a loving husband to Margaretta, and a father to Michael (Judie), Anthony (Karen), and Yvonne (Pat, deceased). Roger is also survived by six grandchildren: Darryan, Kyla, Jaylan, Kiera, Shaylan, Maura, and a great-granddaughter, Zaalia. He leaves behind his brother Reginald, sister Esther, and was predeceased by his oldest sister Doreen, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Roger was born in Barbados on October 4, 1942, emigrated to England, and then moved to Canada in 1964. He dedicated over 30 years of his career as a machinist at Pratt and Whitney. Roger loved to be surrounded by his family and friends, enjoyed listening to music, relished Maggie's good food, and was an avid fan of the Blue Jays, Formula 1, and cricket. He will be dearly missed.
