It is with heavy, heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an extraordinary man, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather our, Ronald Thomas Clarke. Ron leaves behind the absolute love of his life, best friend and wife for over 66 years his darling Millie, his loving and devoted daughters Linda, (Jack Macpherson), and Donna (Phil Evans) his adoring grandchildren Kim Karamitsos (Peter) , Michael Macpherson, (France) , Courtney Evans (Nick) and Hayden Evans and his sweet little great granddaughters Nicole and Kate Karamitsos and Julia and Emma Macpherson , his sisters in law Viney Mitchell, Elaine Meehan and his brother in law George Meehan (Joan) , and his many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Ron. Ron lived his life each and every day by being kind to everyone. He valued and treated all with the respect he thought they deserved. He was a true inspiration to many with his wisdom, keen wit and warm caring ways. Ron spent his entire career of almost 48 years at Air Canada and when retired he involved himself with his family, church and had a keen interest and love for sports and his Montreal Canadians ,Toronto Blue Jays and the game of golf. When Millie had to go into assisted living a couple of years ago the decision was made immediately that if she had to go -he was going with her. The support and care from everyone at Sunrise DDO and all the friends that he made is absolutely overwhelming. There are too many names to mention but they never will be forgotten. Ron has been kind and generous to his family and was always there to help them when they needed him. He was a true gentleman and a wonderful example on how we should treat each other by showing love, kindness and respect to all. He will be sorrily missed!

A celebration of his life with friends and family will be held this Friday May 26th at 1130am at Sunrise Senior Living at 4377 Boul Saint Jean, Dollard Des Ormeaux. A private family funeral will be held at a later date. If you would like to do something to honour Ron it could be a visit to his love Millie or an act of kindness to someone who needs it. Let his generous spirit live on!! God bless!
