Our family is heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Ronald Joseph Kiley, beloved son of the late Benedict and Margaret (Neville) Kiley for whom he held the deepest affection.

He leaves behind his wife of 53 years Barbara who by his side shared love, life, laughter and family.
His 3 devoted children Leona (Ray), Wendy (Real) and Christopher with whom he shared much wisdom, encouragement, love and support.

His 3 dear grandchildren Shannon, Ryan and Rachael for whom he always shared a smile and a hug.
His sisters June (Pierre), Brenda and Deborah (Rob) for whom he always found the time.
His godchildren for whom he always offered encouragement and support. As well as the many in-laws, nieces and nephews who, as one eloquently put it, “Will miss his commentary”.

Born in Shannon, Quebec in 1945 to a farming family, Ronald and his siblings grew up in a house of much love and an extremely tight-knit community. It was here where he grew up learning what it meant to be a son, a brother, a man, a husband, a father and a grandfather.
Through his proud support he has succeeded in passing on these qualities that embody “family” to his children and grandchildren, which is perhaps his greatest legacy.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or service outside the small number of family permitted at this time.

You may join us virtually using the following link: http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/12228 (copy/paste)

We request that in lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the heart and stroke foundation or any charity of your choice in his name.

Being of Irish descent, death is a time to celebrate the life lived and to share a drink in his honor.
So, we do in fact encourage you, with St. Patrick’s Day upon us to lift a glass to Ron and share your fondest memories.

“Don’t cry because it is over. Smile because it happened” -Dr. Seuss.
