Passed peacefully at the Ste. Anne's Hospital surrounded by his family after several months of ill health. Survived and missed so much by his loving wife of 41 years, Bernadette Zizek Mount, his sons Richard and Edward (Hayley), and Ross' special joy grandson Luke. Also missed by his sister Mary Drennan (Hugh) of Fredericton NB, nephew Scott Drennan (Rebecca Hogue), niece Catherine Schmidt (Kurt) and their daughter Rachel.
Ross, born to Harry and Jean Mount, was a life-long Montrealer and dedicated supporter of the Alouettes, Expos and Canadiens. The many boys, now men, whom he coached over the years have continued to be in touch with him and support him and his family during his illness.
A private graveside service is to be arranged at a later date.
We wish to express our sincere thanks to the staff on the 12th floor at Ste. Anne's Hospital for the outstanding care they provided to Ross and our family during his illness.
